The HRC Community Advocates program provides one-on-one support to adults in Teton Valley as they navigate essential services, including legal assistance, healthcare access, housing, and adult education. Our bilingual advocates build trusting relationships with clients and work alongside them to complete applications, interpret critical conversations, and connect them to local and regional resources.
This culturally responsive program helps remove barriers that often stand between individuals and the services they need. Whether it’s translating at a medical appointment, understanding tenant rights, or finding pathways to GED and ESL programs, our advocates are there every step of the way.
In 2026, HRCTV aims to expand this initiative through outreach pop-up events, stronger partnerships with regional service providers, and the launch of bilingual digital literacy workshops. We also plan to train a new cohort of volunteer advocates to grow our team and serve even more residents with care and dignity.
By walking with our neighbors through complex systems, HRC Community Advocates ensure no one is left behind and that every individual has access to opportunities that improve well-being and self-reliance.
