Language is one of the most powerful tools for connection and opportunity. That’s why HRCTV has prioritized language access as a core part of our Learning & Development programs. In 2025, we’re proud to expand our ESL (English as a Second Language) classes while also introducing beginner Spanish classes for non-native speakers, fostering a bilingual community built on mutual understanding.
Our ESL program now offers multiple levels to accommodate both newcomers and intermediate learners. Each class includes real-world conversation practice, cultural integration tips, and vocabulary for everyday life—like navigating a grocery store, attending a school meeting, or applying for a job. Taught by certified instructors and community volunteers, these courses are both accessible and impactful.
This year, we’ve also launched Spanish Basics for English speakers, including local teachers, business owners, and civic leaders. The goal is to foster empathy and communication across cultures. These classes are taught in a welcoming environment with a focus on pronunciation, common phrases, and cultural context—especially helpful in a multilingual region like Teton Valley.
Our expanded offerings reflect our commitment to making language learning a two-way street. In our classrooms, students and teachers learn from each other, and everyone walks away with more tools to navigate life—and connect with neighbors—in a richer, more meaningful way.
