Being part of the Teton Valley community and volunteering with HRC for over 13 years has been one of the greatest joys of her life. Through helping others meet their basic needs, offering support, and building meaningful connections, Juanita has found a deep sense of purpose. She is especially grateful for the incredible people she’s met along the way—each story, each challenge, and each triumph has strengthened her belief in the power of kindness and inclusion.
Above all, Juanita cherishes time with her family—her high school sweetheart and best friend, their children, and grandchildren—who remind her every day why love and community matter most. Whether cooking, dancing, or meeting new people, she finds joy in life’s simple pleasures, but it’s the people who truly make the journey special.
She is filled with gratitude for everyone who has been part of this path and looks forward to continuing to serve, grow, and celebrate life together.
