Dia de Los Muertos Celebration

October 17, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Festival del Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead Festival

Join the Hispanic Resource Center in honoring one of the most meaningful traditions in Mexican culture — El Día de los Muertos.

Our craft workshops create a welcoming space to learn about the history and meaning of this beautiful tradition while preparing decorations for your home altars or for our community display.

Workshops at the HRC Office:

October 17 – Paper Marigold Workshop: Make paper flowers for altars.

October 24 – Flower Crown Workshop: Create your own Catrina crown to keep or wear during the Catrina Contest at our festival on November 1.

On October 27, we’ll be at the Driggs City Center setting up our Community Altar, where everyone is welcome to participate and build their own altar.
On October 28, the altars will be open for public viewing and reflection.

Then, on November 1, return to the Driggs City Center for our Festival del Día de los Muertos Celebration, featuring:
Live music
Community and family altars
Traditional food
Cultural activities and performances

Entrance: $5 per person | Children under 3: Free
