Strong partnerships with local schools are central to HRCTV’s mission to empower families and build community resilience. Our staff and volunteers work alongside educators to support bilingual students, connect parents with school resources, and offer interpretation during meetings, orientations, and special events.
In 2024, our team provided interpretation services at more than 40 school functions and translated over 100 documents and announcements. From report cards to field trip permission slips, our language access work ensures that all families can stay informed and involved in their children’s education. We’ve also offered training for school staff on culturally responsive practices.
Beyond interpretation, we collaborate with teachers and counselors to identify student needs early—offering tutoring, school supplies, and referrals to social services. Our youth programs, like academic mentoring and college readiness workshops, give students the tools and confidence to envision bright futures.
We’re deeply grateful to the administrators, teachers, and parents who trust us as partners. Together, we’re closing the opportunity gap and making our schools more inclusive, supportive, and equitable for every student in Teton Valley.
