Together\, We Make a Difference.\nThe Hispanic Resource Center of Teton Valley is proud to participate in the 2026 Tin Cup Challenge\, Teton Valley’s largest annual day of giving and celebration of local nonprofits. Hosted by the Community Foundation of Teton Valley\, the Tin Cup Challenge brings together neighbors\, businesses\, volunteers\, and nonprofits to strengthen the organizations that make our community thrive. Every donation made during the Giving Period is partially matched through the generosity of Tin Cup Challengers\, helping your gift go even further. \nThis year’s Giving Period runs from Friday\, June 12 through Friday\, July 24\, 2026\, at 5:00 PM. During this time\, supporters can make a designated donation to HRCTV that will help fund programs including language access services\, newcomer support\, legal and immigration education\, youth programming\, cultural celebrations\, and community advocacy. Your generosity directly impacts families throughout Teton Valley while also qualifying for the annual Tin Cup matching grant. \nJoin Us on Event Day\nCelebrate with us on Saturday\, July 18 at Driggs City Park! The Tin Cup Challenge is more than a fundraiser—it’s a community festival featuring nonprofit booths\, family-friendly activities\, live entertainment\, the popular 5K and 10K races\, Fun Run/Walk\, and the always entertaining Diaper Derby. DESCRIPTION:Festival del Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead Festival\nJoin the Hispanic Resource Center in honoring one of the most meaningful traditions in Mexican culture — El Día de los Muertos. \nOur craft workshops create a welcoming space to learn about the history and meaning of this beautiful tradition while preparing decorations for your home altars or for our community display. \nWorkshops at the HRC Office: \nOctober 17 – Paper Marigold Workshop: Make paper flowers for altars. \nOctober 24 – Flower Crown Workshop: Create your own Catrina crown to keep or wear during the Catrina Contest at our festival on November 1. \nOn October 27\, we’ll be at the Driggs City Center setting up our Community Altar\, where everyone is welcome to participate and build their own altar.On October 28\, the altars will be open for public viewing and reflection. \nThen\, on November 1\, return to the Driggs City Center for our Festival del Día de los Muertos Celebration\, featuring:Live musicCommunity and family altarsTraditional foodCultural activities and performances \nEntrance: $5 per person | Children under 3: Free

In 2024\, the event raised $3\,372\,973 from 1\,355 donors. Since 2008\, this event has raised nearly $27 million\, directly benefitting Teton Valley’s cherished nonprofits working tirelessly to enhance our quality of life. \nWhy is the Tin Cup Challenge important?\n\nCultivates generosity as a cherished community value.\nRaises funds to help our local nonprofits meet their missions.\nBrings awareness to our hard-working nonprofit organizations.\nServes as an efficient fundraising mechanism to save nonprofits time\, money\, and resources.\n\nHow does it work?\nDuring the 6-week charitable giving period\, donors give to their favorite local nonprofits\, knowing their gifts will be partially matched by a grant from the Community Foundation of Teton Valley’s Challenger Fund for all gifts received between 9 am on June 13th and 5 pm July 25\, 2025. \nTo learn more\, read all about the Tin Cup Challenge\, and the ways you can contribute\, on the Community Foundation of Teton Valley’s website.
